Head coach Mellmer has been with the Dickinson Wrestling Club for 20 years. Over the years, he has coached many kids (in the wrestling club feeder program) who have eventually became state highschool champions for Dickinson High School. The Mellmer family include 4 sons and one daughter with 11 high school state championships between them. This is the most for any ND family.

Coach McCormick and family moved to Dickinson in 1995.  They have one son, Joshua  (age 12) and 2 daughters, Kayla (age 18) and McKenna (age 8).  Steve has worked for Northern Improvement Company for over 25 years and is currently a Vice President and  Company Director.  He wrestled for Bismarck St. Mary’s in high school and was a two-time state champion.  He was the 1987 Mr. Wrestler of North Dakota.  He was an assistant coach for Matpac  in 1986 and 1987 and  has been involved with the Dickinson Wrestling Club since 1998.  Coach McCormick has a strong belief in the life lessons wrestling teaches, both on and off the mat.

In charge of our nutrition, dieting, and conditioning. A recent Gallop poll indicated that he may very well be the best looking coach in all of ND wrestling.
